In autumn 2010 The Institute celebrated its first jubilee. Our 50-years history is the history of fascinating scientific research in experimental and clinical oncology, the history of origin and development of new ideas and scientific native schools. But let's go through the virtual space of our laboratories, get acquainted with researchers, look closely how young and enthusiastic we are! The knowledge for us is not an abstract philosophical category, it is a state of not indifferent soul of everyone who joins to scientific search for fighting the great human problem - oncological diseases.
What is deep cancer nature like, how and why does it occur? How can the risk of disease be reduced and how can we recognize it in time? How to fight it when the diagnosis has been determined? How can we create new powerful methods to struggle with cancer? The search of answer to this and other questions is the main task of our staff studies.
The powerful intellectual potential, openness and will to carry our knowledge and achievements to the community- this is what we can propose to society nowadays.
